Jail Break and Street Performers

Friday night I jailbroke my iPhone with a tool from www.ziphone.org. The process was positively simple; one click and now I have access to numerous 3rd party applications. There may be no need for this process with the promise of the SDK in June.

I spent Saturday at the Inner Harbor watching the 2008 Street Performer auditions. Of course I had my camera with me so I could find material for Shutter On The Street. All of the performers auditioning were of the musical variety except for one step squad team. I thought all of the candidates did a great job and I would enjoy seeing them again. The auditions started at 12:30 and ran until just before 3pm. After the auditions were over, the “seasoned” performers took the stage. Evan Young was there from Global Evan and Michael Rosman from HarborJuggler.com.

I’ve been a web 2.0/social network fiend lately. I can’t get enough of them. The best one that I’ve found is FriendFeed. FriendFeed allows me follow my friends by aggregating their feeds from multiple sites into one feed. It’s also a great way to follow what I do on all of my different web 2.0 sites. Another site that mashes up all of my entries is Profilactic. I’m not a big fan of the name but it’s an easy way to follow everything that I’m doing.
