Bert and Leah Engagement Session

I was honored to have Bert and Leah ask me to do a portrait session to celebrate their engagement and the preparations of their wedding this June.  We went out on a Sunday evening to Jerusalem Mill a little before sunset to catch that great evening sun.  I think the pictures turned out really well, mostly because they are very attractive people which made my job really easy.  I just had to make sure the settings on the camera were right and voila, instant magic.  We had a lot of fun and the location offered several different backdrops for a variety of compositions.

I used the pictures from Courtney’s shoot and Bert & Leah’s shoot to launch my new web site:  I know, I know, I just launched but I’ve decided to go a different route and use a different provider, Zenfolio (Use code C4D-UVF-AHZ for $5 an account).  I decided to go with Zenfolio for a few reasons but the biggest selling point was that they are partnered with as a printer.  I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about mpix so I wanted my “customers” to have the best prints possible. Zenfolio is also cheaper than smugmug and while it’s not as powerful, it offeres most of the features I’m interested in.

Here are some highlights from my shoot with Bert & Leah:
