In December, we had a very successful iPhone training event in Baltimore. Unfortunately, the event sold out in 3 days and we were unable to accommodate any additional attendees. We had 21 people on a waiting list. So there was no doubt that we were going to do it again.
Today, I am pleased to announce that our second 2-day iPhone Programming 101 workshop will be held Saturday, March 12 and Sunday, March 13 from 9am-5pm.
This is a 2-day workshop to get you started with the basics of iPhone and iPad development, by iPhone tutorial writer Ray Wenderlich. In a series of demos, lectures, and hands-on challenges, you will learn the most important APIs in iOS development and try them out yourself by making your own iPhone and iPad app from scratch!
“This course is tailored for beginners to iOS development, or for those who would like a refresher on their foundational knowledge. It will be focusing on beginner UIKit topics only – not game programming or advanced topics.” –Ray Wenderlich
Lunch will be provided both days and we have a lot of door prizes and giveaways for the participants.
Bring your Macs, iPhones, and iPads if you have them and any spares too! A deep interest in software development or experience with an object oriented programming language will be beneficial to you as an attendant.
The event will be held at the BWI Holiday Inn. Early registration tickets are on sale now.
Feel free to share this with anyone you think would be interested.
